FMM is currently hiring a Business Development Executive to join the sales team. To be successful in this role you must have strong consultative sales and analytical skills, thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment and most importantly, have passion–we’re talking champions, down to the last second passion for sales and marketing.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
A minimum of 1-year experience preferred in sales of hands-on sales and business development experience, selling a service-based business; marketing service experience a definite plus. Much of our work consists of contacting high-level brands for sponsorship and providing small to large scale marketing campaigns.
Proven experience building sales pipelines, relationships and assisting with closing deals; we’re looking for a motivated and driven hunter that loves to sell by building the right-fit relationships and working with internal team support to close deals.
Proven experience having interactions with and selling to senior-level executives – Director, VP, and C-Suite.
Has the ability to tap into an already established relationship and network throughout the United States, in all market segments including– Food and Beverage, Spirits, Consumer Products, Healthcare, and Technology.
Proven and effective networking skills, farming, qualifying and getting appointments. We do provide training on this.
Working knowledge of leading CRM systems to effectively track prospects, actions, follow-up, meetings and provide weekly activity reports to FMM management.
Remote-based contractor position, residing in the United States to ensure access and interaction with clients.
Contractor will be required to furnish and maintain his or her own home office including a computer, phone, printer, and ability to have video-based communications.
Compensation is based on a competitive commission structure with an opportunity for draws.
Position works directly with the internal team to support CRM up-keep and data entry and has direct involvement in creating/presenting proposals/estimates and closing deals. Duties include meeting and communicating with clients, quoting customers, cold calling, creating proposals through PowerPoint for potential opportunities, booking appointments for senior reps, and meeting sales goals.
What you need to have…
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Full-cycle sales management experience preferred
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to think strategically
- Experience working in a CRM is a plus! (Salesforce, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible and coachable attitude
- Challenger personality
